VENTIL8™

The fabrics in the VENTIL8™  Galvin Green Polo shirts are engineered to give an extremely high level of breathability and excellent moisture-wicking properties. The yarn is made from polyester, since polyester does not absorb moisture, but pushes it to the surface of the fabric where it is spread out (wicking effect) and evaporates. To achieve the superior moisture-wicking and quick dry effect, the polyester fibre is engineered to spread the moisture over a larger surface and thereby evaporate quicker. Polyester also has some other very important properties - it does not shrink; it is extremely colour fast and does not need ironing. So, you can wash and wear a VENTIL8™ shirt repeatedly without any shrinking or colour fading issues. It will look fresh every time you wear it. Galvin Green trousers also feature Ventil8+ technology helping you remain fresh and cool in all conditions.

INSULA™

High-performance golf wear featuring INSULA™ technology used in the Galvin Green Insula mid-layers for light thermal comfort in cold conditions.     100% waterproof. Guaranteed to keep you dry™. Super smooth outer material that provides comfort and has excellent drape characteristics. In some of the Galvin Green waterproof jackets and trousers in GORE-TEX fabric, we use a lining on the inside for added warmth. The lining creates an extra layer of air between the GORE-TEX fabric and the body that is warmed by your body heat to give a warming effect.
