We will also collect data from you when you enter any Original Green competitions via our website, social media outlets or paper marketing, as well as if you review our products or complete customer satisfaction surveys.

How we use this information

When we have collected this information we will use it to fulfil orders, update you on the progress of your orders or if we have any issues with your order.

If you have signed up to receive our email marketing we will use the information to send you our latest products and offers, along with any specific products tailored to your previous browsing history or basket recovery. We will not bombard you with emails, that is not our policy, we want you to have an enjoyable online experience at Original Green and hope that the information we send you will be of interest. If you have previously opted to receive our email marketing we will continue to send you this until you tell us to stop.

If at any point you do not wish to receive the email marketing from Original Green, you always have the option to unsubscribe from our mailing list using the unsubscribe button on the bottom of every marketing email we send out. We may use non identifying information to improve or better design our website. In this case statistics are collected about how many numbers of visitors to the site look at certain aspects of it and ignore others. We will not be disclosing who these visitors are, it is simply to help develop our website and guide our visitors through our site more successfully.

Changing or correcting your information

It is important you keep your information correct and up to date. You can always access your account when you have registered with Original Green using your login details you created when first registering. Alternatively, if you would like to contact a member of our Customer Service team via shop@originalgreen.co.uk they will be happy to help. We stress keeping your username and password safe is important and we will not be liable if your information falls in to another person’s hands due to your negligence.

Data Security

We understand Data Security is extremely important to Original Green online customers and we have put in place all measures to provide you with peace of mind when disclosing information to us. That is why we guarantee we comply with the Data Protection Act 1988. It is also important we protect children’s privacy and for that reason we will not collect information from any child who is knowingly under 13.

Third Party Involvement

We don't collect or store any credit/debit card details on the Original Green website. This is all done via our SagePay partners and is held securely by them. SagePay have their own privacy policy in place which can be found on their website.

Third party courier companies are used by Original Green. The information provided to them will only be used to allow us to send your parcels safely and securely.
Finally our website provider may use certain information to identify fraudulent transactions and for analysing traffic data to the site.
We do not disclose any of your personal information with any other third party, your information will never be sold on to any other companies both in the UK and abroad.
